A Stitch in Time

Are all you Graphic 45 aficionados ready for another fun challenge?

Sometimes it’s the tiny the details that add so much to a layout. I love the look of stitching on a page . . . whether it be simple hand stitching, sewing machine stitching, or more elaborate embroidery work. Stitching is the perfect compliment to the beautiful vintage Graphic 45 papers. And have you seen the new Domestic Goddess line that includes lovely vintage sewing graphics??!! I have fallen in love with these papers! My layout features papers from this fabulous new line. I did lots of hand and machine stitching here as well as some crochet work . . . plus I added some vintage sewing goodies for extra fun!

Your challenge for this month is simple: include stitching on your layout. You can hand stitch and/or sewing machine stitch on your page, or you can get creative with embroidery thread, yarn, etc.

To enter the challenge, upload your entry in your reply to this thread by August 31st. I can’t wait to see what you all come up with!!!

OOOH WOW .. LOVE IT
Love this page. I saw it at CHA and could not believe all of the detail. It must have taken you days!
This is stunning!!!! All the details, all the work... how long did it take you to make this layout?
I really really really love this lay-out!
I wish I knew how to crochet! That's gorgeous. At least I have a sewing machine ;)
This is incredible!
I love this layout and was green with envy at your crocheting skills!! Hopefully I can give this one my nest shot but it is school holidays at the moment so we'll see. I have so many sewing little pieces saved for that special layout but have never used them..I love that your layout is full of them!!
What a marvelous LO! Everytime I look at it I find something new! Great August challenge, I'm looking forward to it as, believe it or not, I haven't tried the sewing thing yet on my LOs. You are an inspiration :)
This probably took me a few nights to finish -- maybe 7+ hours or so. But I'm a VEEEEEEERRRRRRY slow scrapper and I dilly dally a lot while scrapping, so I always spend about 2 or 3 nights (anywhere from 6 to 8 hours) on most of my layouts anyways. My most recent layout took me 4 nights to finish! But I don't mind because I really enjoy the process. ;)

I hope you all play along with this month's challenge!!

AWESOME challenge! My all time favourite way to finish a layout or card is by adding stitching! A challenge after my own heart!
