My first mini steampunk book
So this weekend, inspired, I made my first steampunk mini book, using Graphic 45, 7 Gypsies, Industrial Chic and Tim Holtz papers and embellishments and am thrilled with the results. Got in the zone on this one and went to town, listening to Valentine Wolfe and Din of Thieves.

Steampunk Empire features page of Cecile Bainbridge journal
I rec'd exciting news yesterday that my first page of "The 1898 Journal of Cecile Bainbridge" was featured in the main page photo gallery of Steampunk Empire. This journal is a memory journal of the character I portray in Upstate Steampunk, our local steampunk society her ein Greenville, SC, USA, which holds monthly meetings, a massive Con in November and hopefully other things like tea parties, picnics, scavenger hunts and swap meets.

Thank you for your comments! It's been quite a journey with that photo box, and I feel so free now that I've dealt with it this way. The time was right, I guess. The whole Steampunk thing is brand new to me - working on this project really helped me understand it more. I guess I've been a Steampunk in spirit all this time.
